Dr. Kanayama has given me my life back and I am 3 months pain-free. I had 4 previous surgeries with other surgeons and unfortunately none were successful. Earlier this year, I knew that I needed to have my 5th surgery and didn't know who to call by wanted the best in New York. A colleague at work recommended joining the Endometriosis Association and though maybe they might be able to help find the perfect doctor. After establishing my membership I had asked for the best surgeon in New York and they recommended Dr. Kanayama, and everyday I am thankful that I made that phone call. As time approached for my surrgery, Dr. Kanayama's Office Manager, Sabrina, took over and arranged everything from preadmissions testing to calling and checking on how I was doing before my surgery. Even after my surgery was over, my follow up visits and dealing with my health insurance went very smoothly. Now I am ready to take the next step and try to get pregnant and s we are keeping our fingers and toes crossed. I had my check up in December of 2008 and great news the Endometriosis has not returned, he is truly an amazing Surgeon. I can't believe I finally get to report that I am 7 weeks Pregnant naturally and this is after 3 years of trying - 1 Failed IUI , 3 Failed Rounds of Clomid and 2 Failed IVF's. Dr Kanayama has always told me to relax and this will work because i will be fine after I had the surgery.
