I'm 45 years old, and I'd been having pains, bad periods, lower back pain, and more for many years. I had been to two doctors before finding Dr. Kanayama. One doctor wanted to put me on hormone replacement, and the other wanted to give me a hysterectomy. I knew I was in much more need of treatment than hormone therapy.

After years of suffering, one day, while visiting my chiropractor, she recommended Dr. Kanayama. I called and made an appointment with Dr. Kanayama. He examined me, and explained to me that I had Stage IV endometriosis. He explained that a hysterectomy wouldn't solve my problem. He could remove all of the endo, as well as a chocolate cyst I also had.

Dr. Kanayama operated on me on New Year's Eve, 2009 at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut. He should have been home, with his family, celebrating the New Year, but instead, he was with me and his other patients in Greenwich Hospital. After over 4 hours on the table, I was done.

After 2 or 3 days, I began to feel ... “different”... I no longer had the pains that had been my constant companion for years... I no longer felt like I had a grapefruit in my lap when I sat. As I recuperated, I realized that I had felt better than I had felt in a very long time. Before long, I realized what a God send Dr. Kanayama was and how amazingly great I felt. I CAN NOT underestimate the God-given talent this man has. He has certainly changed my life. Ask my husband, he'll tell you!

My follow up visits at Dr. Kanayama's office have been exceptional. His staff are among the most positive and caring that can be found anywhere. Sabrina especially has gone out of her way with the paper work and dealing with insurance companies and that I liked.

All I can say is that Dr. Kanayama and his staff are there for their patients, and the professionalism and caring are above all.
