For over 2 years I was seeking relief from painful and burdensome menstrual symptoms. I trusted my doctor when he said nothing was wrong but it was clear my symptoms were worsening over time. Even after visiting countless general OBGYNs, I continued to remain undiagnosed and severely uncomfortable.

After educating myself on how serious my symptoms were I knew I had to find a specialist. Within my first 2 visits to Dr. Kanayama's office I was diagnosed with endometriosis and uterine polyps. Shortly after that, my surgery was arranged quickly and easily.

Currently, I am recovering brilliantly and thanks to Dr. Kanayama I can now have children. I could not be more pleased with the high quality patient care I received from Dr. Kanayama, his office staff, surgical team and Greenwich Hospital nursing staff.
