It has now been about nine months since Dr. Kanayama literally performed a miracle, in removing a 10-cm cyst from my one remaining ovary and reconstructing it; as well as cleaning up the mess in my pelvic cavity that Stage IV Endo can cause. The prognosis following the surgery was good; I was instructed to take it easy and that our chances to conceive naturally were still thought be pretty good following the recovery period.

I could not be more pleased to announce that I am 13 weeks pregnant, and that we conceived naturally! My husband and I got to hear baby's heartbeat for the first time today and it was the most incredible experience. My new OB-GYN here in Charlotte says that everything looks excellent - and it has been a very long time since I've received such great news from a gynecologist besides Dr. Kanayama! For the first time in my life, I look forward to ultrasounds!

At my last appointment in New York I was about 5 weeks along and Dr. Kanayama gave me my first baby picture. I told him the same thing I write here - he is a miracle worker and that this pregnancy couldn't have happened had he not performed the brilliant surgery that gave me my life back. He wisely answered that this miracle has come from God. And while I believe that 100%, I must say that I would never have gotten my miracle had it not been for Dr. Kanayama and the amazing, miraculous work he does. He is an angel on earth and words cannot fully express the gratitude I feel.

I will continue to pray for Dr. Kanayama, as well as for blessings for all women that suffer with endometriosis.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Breuer
