My life has been restored to me because Dr. Kanayama, Sabrina & the other staff were willing to be conduits of God.  My diagnosis was very complex in nature, everything from fibroid tumors, chocolate cyst, endometriosis, an Ovarian mass and a uterus that had to be reconstructed.  After numerous medical opinions I decided to travel a distance to see Dr. Kanayama and allow him to conduct this major surgery. To illustrate how complex the surgery was, another doctor (who was highly recommended) informed me that he may have to give me a complete emergency hysterectomy in order to save my life.  Moreover, Dr. Kanayama was the only doctor that gave me hope that I would be able to keep my reproductive organs and even have children.  And this hope transformed into reality because the surgery was a miraculous success!   I also appreciated the accessibility of Dr. Kanayama and his staff; they made me feel like family; during pre-surgery, surgery and post surgery.

Therefore, I highly recommending the Endometriosis Center for care; in fact, my sister was so impressed by the excellence that Dr. Kanayama and his staff exhibited (pre-surgery, surgery and post surgery) that she decided to fly a distance to also be under his medical supervision.  I will continue to recommend relatives, friends and colleagues to Dr. Kanayama regardless of their location.  Moreover, Sabrina was definitely an instrument of peace and a wealth of knowledge; if she did not have an answer (which was rare) she would track it down and notify me promptly.  Also I have found that Sabrina knows more than my insurance company. For me, knowing that I could count on Sabrina to filter through the insurance maze afforded me the blessing to prepare for the surgery and really rest throughout my recovery period.

I would be remiss if I did not also thank Dr. Kanayama for selecting Greenwich Village Hospital for the surgical procedure, what a top notch hospital staff!

In closing, I am so thankful to God that Dr. Kanayama sees challenges as opportunities to do wonderful exploits.  I will be forever thankful … and so will my children to come.
