Dear Dr. Kanayama,
My name is Jason Young, recently I spent some time reading your website testimonials and letters from some of your patients. I found myself getting more and more emotional as I read, how you have changed these woman's lives forever. I thought to myself how lucky these women are to have been able to get the help they needed from you. I also noticed that all of these letters told their story on what they have been through. So I thought I would also write to you, but instead of this letter being written by my wife or after the surgery, I wanted you to know more about my wife, so you can better understand how we came to you, and why we are so excited about what the future holds.
So who is Merri? Well she is the granddaughter of Theodore and Zelda Gold and Teddy and Pearl Zalesne.
She’s the daughter of Kenneth and Marsha Gold; she is the sister of Dana
Pringle, she is the wife of Jason Young, she is the mother of Ryder Young, she is the niece of aunt Sherry and uncle Michael, aunt Carol and uncle Mark, aunt Sharon and uncle Steve she is the cousin of David, Jordy, Jonathan, Eric, Jason, Becky, she is an aunt to Noah, Jayke, Jordan, Mckenzie, Delaney, Hunter, Logan, Dillan, Jebby, Emerson, Justin, and Dyllan. She is the sister in law to Thor and Robyn, Shane and Kimmie, Erik and Jodi, Kelly and Pete, Kristine and David, Kim and Ron. She is the daughter in law to Cookie and Car1 and Herb and Jean. She is the best friend to Nancy and Jill, and she is the friend to hundreds more that I dare not attempt to write them all down.
She is my best friend, the woman I will spend the rest of my life with. She is the girl who no matter what song comes on the radio, it is her favorite song, she is the girl that knows all the camp songs from her childhood and still loves to sing them, she is the girl who would take every animal that needed her help and keep them, she is the girl who thinks she is the best car dancer ever in the world, she is also the girl that I have seen suffer for the last 12 years that I have known her for, with this disease month after month. She is the girl that I sit and watch her roll on the floor crying in pain, asking GOD for help. She is the girl who has to plan and re-plan everything she does around her pains; she is the girl who has to watch 1ife pass by her, because she cannot go to the wedding or the party, the park, the store or a walk with her son all because of these pains.
She is also the girl who refused to listen to the doctors who did not believe her, she is also the girl who refused to stop trying to get help, even after every surgery left her a little more broken, she is the girl who got us to you!!! So the reason I am writing to you is simple, I wanted you to understand that Merri is a fighter, and I wanted you to fight for her in that operating room.
When you heal my wife, you will be changing her life, and touching everyone else's in this letter. In closing I want to say thank you for the hope you have given us and the life that is to follow. MAY GOD GUIDE YOUR HANDS IN THIS OPERATION AND BLESS YOU FOR TRYING.
Sincerely,
Jason Young |
