After years of struggling with infertility; one failed IUI after another and 2 unsuccessful IVF attempts I knew something was very wrong. After consulting with Dr. Kanayama I realized my infertility was not unexplained after all. Truth is I had extensive stage 2 endometriosis and never knew it. I was fairly asymptomatic - basically just suffered from menstrual cramps and lower back pain prior to my period. But what I didn't realize is that this disease was affecting my ability to conceive. Dr Kanayama proceeded to skillfully and properly excise the endometriosis and a cyst hidden between my ovary and colon. Since my operation, my periods have been cramp free, I no longer have lower back pain and overall I just feel "me" again. Dr. Kanayama has renewed my faith in medicine due to his kind and caring demeanor and his meticulous attention to detail and overall professionalism. Not only has Dr. Kanayama healed my body but he has healed my mind as well allowing me to have faith again that one day I will be a mother. Thanks to Sabrina as well who has made the billing process smooth and painless; guiding through the ups and downs of the insurance world. She has been an amazing emotional support to me as well always being my cheerleader and rooting me on towards motherhood! The support is much appreciated. Thank you!
