I initially went to see Dr. Kanayama after enduring an extremely painful, unnecessary surgery performed by a doctor who had very limited knowledge of endometriosis. Being a young woman I was concerned about my fertility and was also experiencing severe post-surgical pain. I knew I needed to seek an expert in the field of endometriosis.

I began to read about Dr. Kanayama online and knew he was the doctor I wanted to see. I called his office and was able to get an appointment immediately. I couldn't believe it. My first appointment was refreshing, both Dr. Kanayama and his staff were amazingly helpful. I was able to meet with Dr. Kanayama in his office for almost an hour; he answered all of my questions. They provided a caring and comfortable environment which I greatly needed after my horrible past medical experiences.

With Dr. Kanayama I was treated as all patients should be treated but often aren't - with respect and dignity. My treatment later involved surgery at Greenwich Hospital, a hospital unlike any I have ever experienced. The facility was state-of-the-art and matched the quality of service I experienced at Dr. Kanayama's office. The hospital staff was delightful. I was made to feel as though I was the only patient in the hospital, not one of many patients shoved in a corner.

After my surgery I continued with regular follow-ups. Dr. Kanayama and his staff have continued to be available and helpful post-surgery.

I cannot express how much I appreciate the care I have received from Dr. Kanayama, he has given me hope. I continue to see him as I am convinced I am in the best of hands.
