After being told by my gynecologist that I needed surgery again for my Stage IV endometriosis, I set out to seek a second opinion.

That's when I found Dr. Kanayama.

My experience with Dr. Kanayama and his staff has been nothing short of wonderful. His skill at removing my extremely aggressive endometriosis and the basically "pain-free" was amazing. His staff at Greenwich Hospital is made up of some of the nicest poeple I have met in a long time in the medical field. I felt reassured being in the hands of caring, gentle people who did a perfect job.

My recovery from this surgery compared to my previous surgery with another doctor has been night and day! I could hardly believe a few days after surgery that I had actually been in the operating room for almost 5 hours.

I am so happy to have found Dr. Kanayama. He truly is heaven-sent and women with endometriosis are lucky to have their disease be his calling.

There may be no cure for endometriosis - but I am truly thankful for Dr. Kanayama and his awe-inspiring removal technique. It is allowing me to live my life again free of pain and I have almost forgotten that I even had Stage IV.
